A Lefty Lexicon

Some definitions from A Lefty Lexicon from England:

Islamophobic - anyone who objects to having their transport blown up on the way to work.

Legitimate grievances - foreign affairs: why we're all to blame for deranged Islamists murdering people in the developed world.

Palestinians - archetype 'victims' no matter how many teenagers they murder in bars and fast food outlets. Never responsible for anything they do – or done in their name - because of 'root causes' or ‘legitimate grievances’.

Religion -
Christianity: irrational, dangerous belief that material things may not be the principal motive behind human behaviour.
Judaism: most Israelis are Jewish, so probably 'intolerant'.
Islam: always needs to be 'understood'

Terrorist - no such thing. Only people suffering from ‘root causes’ and ‘legitimate grievances’.

Shortly after writing this piece, the author, Inigo Wilson, was suspended from his job at Orange - for commiting the heinious crime of offending "British" Mohammadeans. For further details see Guido Fawkes here.

Guido Fawkes also follows up on the story - there is the typical nonresponsive persiflage from an Orange spokesman ; an interview with a Muslim Public Affairs Committee spokesperson who accuses everyone of being pro-Israeli ; and the absolute baldfaced hypocrisy of Orange being a sponsor of anti-censorship group Index on Censorship while actively engaging in censorship.

Ah, the joys of Multiculturalism - where the right of minority groups never to be offended is more important than Freedom of Speech.
