We're Not Laughing

Tuesday, April 28, 2009

It would appear Maleny State High School teachers are in need of mood enhancement – but the government’s decision to spend $1200 on “laughter therapy” for the teachers has been labelled a sad joke.

For two hours during last Monday’s pupil-free day at the school a laughing consultant taught 82 staff members how to laugh.

The laughter therapy session has been likened by some to Sunshine Coast council’s decision to hire a clown to give its staff a motivational talk last year.

Parents of children attending the school – and the students themselves – have joined the Qld Opposition in panning the session.

Would they be the brilliant boffins behind the red ink on reports causes aggro rubbish?
So, now they've found that the rare laughing teacher species has been over-run by the introduced Grumble-Guts teacher who scares students with red ink and they're combatting the imbalance in nature by making Grumble-guts into Giggling Gerties.
Just reading this rubbish on paper, alone, should do the job!

Didn't some Australian government departments recently send their executives off to learn how to be happy?

Happy boffins, giggling teachers.

We're all going to hell in a hand basket.

Happiness, my dear Antipodeans, is best shown by the whistle of cane and the manly thwack against flesh of the Rohrstock-Methode. In short, cane the blighters, and bring a smile to your lips in the process.

For the glory of Kaiser und Reich we didn't need any damned-fool reports to come up with the solution to this one!
